Responsibilities:

Responsible for cost reduction in Tool maintenance

Responsible for the new developments in tooling

To help Vendors in preventive tool maintenance

To coordinate with production teams of the unit as far as tooling is concerned

Responsible for maintenance of Jig & fixture parts

Responsible for replaceable plan follow up

Responsible for training of workers at the shop floor for using tools and fixtures

Ensure that production is not hampered for tools and fixtures

Maintaining proper record of maintenance of tools & fixtures

Knowledge of SAP.
