Press Tool Design Engineer
• Involved in Design and detailing for Press tool
•Executing of Drawings and Bill of Materials.
• Creation of Final Drawings for Final Machining Detail, Assembly Detail
• Engineering standards followed by selection of Raw Material for the required products Creation of Bill of Materials for Raw material, Individual Components and Assembly Independently Tool Design & Tool Manufacturing of sheet metal components.
• Designing of press tools like as Blanking, Piercing, Restricting, Forming, Bending etc.• Designing of Progressive press Tools.
• Leading all activities of tool design & development from conceptual through detail phases, post design support to development, Performing: Component feasibility study, involvement in quoting tool cost, Designing of die layout, press tools
• designing Tool for critical press parts • designing progressive die & multi slide tool Essential Responsibilities: • Responsible for Designing press dies layout and machining fixtures (Mechanical, hydraulic) using Uni-Graphics /NX 10, 11, 12, solidedge /catia (Expert in Modeling, surfacing, sheet metal and drafting).
• Expert on Auto CAD. •
