Skills and Work Experience:

1) Bachelor’s degree (computer science or information technology is preferred) or equivalent.
2) Minimum 6-month work experience as a desktop support engineer or support technician.
3) Knowledge of computer hardware systems, chipsets, memory modules, and peripherals.
4) Knowledge of popular operating systems, software applications, and remote connection systems.
5) Ability to solve complex hardware and software issues.
6) Ability to travel and work after hours when necessary.
7) Good written and verbal communication skills.

Annual Salary:


Responsibilities:

1) First Point-of Contact for reporting end-user issues.
2) Research and identify solutions to software, hardware & network issues reported by end-users.
3) Taking ownership of user issues reported and seeing problems through to resolution.
4) Maintain issue tracker - Track computer system issues through to resolution, within agreed time limits
5) Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams (SAP / Infrastructure).
6) Undertake small to medium-sized IT projects as instructed by the reporting Manager.
7) Routine 1s-2s of IT devices
8) Provide assistance and support to colleagues in IT-related matters.
9) Supplier follow-up for getting invoices, GRN and update to reporting Manager.
10) Setting up and configuring new laptops and desktops.
11) Install authorized software to laptops and desktops.
12) Communicate with hardware OEM for logging call and get it resolved.
13) Installation and maintenance of printers.
